About Kelly Gilchrist

I learnt bookbinding for the first time 6 years ago. While I was studying to be a Graphic Designer, I fell in love with the craft of bookbinding, books and all things historical.

Typography, books and their history are my passion! I found with bookbinding I can create a sweet marriage between all three.

Bookbinding workshops are a new passion of mine, but I enjoy teaching and being able to share the craft with others who are equally interested. So, a special THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of my workshops, you are helping create awareness around a rare craft and at the same time learning to enjoy making with your hands!!
